Hours: 08:45-16:45 Monday-Thursday, 08:45-15:00 Friday
We are currently looking for a Trainee Design Engineer to join our dynamic and down to earth Main Contracts/MultiWorks Team. The role requires a pragmatic, forward thinking individual who can work with a team to deliver quality results to our customers.
This role can begin your career into Project Engineering and Project Management of large-scale construction sites Nationwide.
Main Duties (not limited to):
Assist the design team in creating a sprinkler design for a commercial project.
Assist in calculations of engineering materials of the project and site.
Assist in attending site meetings with the Project Manager.
Using CAD and various design packages, create a site-specific construction mapped drawing to be used on site
Work as part of the team to commission a project from start to finish.
Adhoc business projects
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills
Minimum of 5 GCSE’s (inc English, Maths)
Able to and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
